"On our first day in Kansas, what did we find to do? ... Go hang out at Gage Park and go-o to the Zoo"

Here is a picture of us on the train at Gage Park. We didn't get so lucky this time in that we had to take the picture ourself (read next entry). Luckily, The Mr.'s arm is long enough that he could reach out with our camera and get all of us in the picture. Look at Brayden's face, he doesn't look excited at all, does he? And by the way, our Baby Gril is in this picture. She was asleep in the sling; can't you see her purple hat? Another thing, if you're wondering why we're "glowing" in these pictures, it's because of the humidity ... In B's words, "It's stinkin hot!"

Just in case you didn't notice, the title of this entry can be sung to the classic Christmas Melody: The 12 Days of Christmas (What, a Christmas song in July? Is anyone really surprised?). Topeka has a beautiful park with a train, zoo (they have hippos and lions!), rose garden ... other stuff too. The Mr enjoys taking pictures of The Mrs. walking away ... see if you can spot other pictures like the following.
