Stops along the way - Also day 2 ... United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado

If you ever find yourself in Colorado Springs, this is a place you should visit. Not only is it free, it's also amazing. These pictures don't do it justice.

Above is the Cadet Chapel. Its walls house 5 separate places of worship. The largest chapel is on the main floor and it is the Protestant chapel (other meetings that take place there include meetings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints). The ground floor houses a Catholic chapel, Jewish Synagogue, and Buddist Temple. In the basement is a Muslim place of worship. The craftsmanship of this place is incredible. It is a special spot.

The picture above was taken on the way to the Cadet chapel from the visitors center.
Here are pictures of the stained glass inside the Protestant Chapel of the Cadet Chapel ... Cool.

This was the first project of the architect commissioned to design this building.

Just look at that view.
The school covers about ten miles. Wow!

B @ the visitors center.

So here we are again ... I can't seem to figure out how to delete this picture. Oh well. It's such a beautiful view!
