Mystery of the spoon and the blade

Last night, while we were in bed, the Mr. looked up at our ceiling fan and said, "Do I want to know?" Know what, you ask? Take a look for yourself ...

The mystery is this: why was our four year old with a spoon in our bedroom and why did he decide to throw it up on the fan? We decided to investigate and this conversation ensued:

Mom and Dad: "Why was the spoon in our room?"

B: "Because it was in your room."

Mom and Dad: "Why was the spoon on the fan?"

B: "Because it was on the fan."

Mom and Dad: "Did you throw the spoon on the fan?"

B: "Mm, hmm."

Mom and Dad: "Why?"

B: "Because I did."

So clear, isn't it? The mystery continues ... we still don't understand the motivation. Oh well.
