This is one of my favorite memories of my Mr. This picture was taken at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City (one of our favorite destinations in our previous home). We habitually develop traditions as we frequent our favorite places ... Here it is: after a day playing at the park, we like to stop at the concessions stand to buy cotton candy. That day, my Mr., very chivalrously, agreed to make the purchase; he decided to skate around the park, pick up the confection, then meet the family. Imagine the sight as my Mr., who stands at 6.5 feet tall without Quads (as he calls them), precariously skated down the path while grasping two mounds of cotton candy. He is a manly man because only MANLY men would be willing to hold pink mounds of cotton candy goodness while roller skating through a park. Isn't he great? I love you, my manly man.
Our life isn't perfect, but it's happy; to us life doesn't get any better than that ...

Love the tradition. I can just picture him with the cotton candy. Too funny! ;)
ReplyDeletegiven the choice between that goofy guy and the shirtless park tanner...good choice.
ReplyDeleteYummy! We go to Liberty to play Bocce. It is such a fun game! Oh and I tried this snow cone flavored with tiger___? It was interesting.

This is Scott who is the guy in the background and did you mean to have him in the picture?
ReplyDeleteThe shirtless wonder who so kindly intruded into the frame was unplanned ... Honestly, does anyone want a memory of that? I would hope not! ~ Amor
