His Dilemma

We love festivals and there are a few we attend annually. One is the Utah Arts Festival. While there, B had his face painted and chose to be Spiderman (though this picture is more reminiscent of a 1980's hair "metal" band member than Spiderman). The event helped solidify B's Halloween 2008 dreams, or so we thought (why else would we be blogging about costumes?). The dilemma? While perusing through the costumes at the Wally World (aka Wal-Mart), B met his quandary. Should he release his goal of dressing as Spiderman or should he assume the identity of a new superhero? One with a belt, shoe covers, hard mask and a really sweet cape? Well, the photograph below heralds his choice. Ahh, to be 4 again! As is common, there was some post-decision angst: on the way home from Wally World, he asked if we could return because he wanted to be Spiderman afterall.

Luckily, his parents were available to help. Mom and Dad's choice was easy: keep driving.
