My washing machine moonlights as a rock tumbler ... I was switching laundry today when I noticed these cleaned and polished, dense pieces of matter resting at the foot of the agitator. After inspecting for damages - of which there were none - I calmly finished moving the wet clothes to the dryer. Childhood is fleeting, right? Of course it is. Thank goodness for stealthy rock hoarders (i.e. my four year old son). The preceding is part of a list titled: Things I'll miss when my children are grown.
Ha! I'm usually way unlucky and pull out a crayon :) And I like that you're making a list of things you'll miss...I need to start one of those so I don't go crazy wishing that these things wouldn't happen.
ReplyDeleteI'd trade rocks anyday for the lipgloss that went through the dryer. :0 ;)
