Palabok

We welcomed the New Year and this is what we ate:

Palabok is a Filipino dish of rice noodles, smothered in a shirimp sauce and topped with
shrimp, fried pork rinds, green onion, hard boiled eggs and sauteed garlic.
A lemon wedge is served along side to be squeezed on for additional flavor.
All of the ingredients add to the texture and flavor of the dish ... Yum, yum! Here's a close-up:

  2. Looks yummy, but I would be scared to try it. You know our taste buds only agree with breakfast foods!
