The Discovery

While sitting on the little loo, our very own Little Miss discovered something. It's scientific name: umbilicus. Also known as navel or belly button. Most people have innies, according to Wikipedia, and at her birth she helped confirm that statistic (I hope you can make a deduction from the preceding). Anyway, I have been sitting here watching as she wanders about the house with a finger on or in her umbilicus. Every so often she loses contact; when that happens, her expression turns serious as her hand deftly relocates the precious find. Now I wonder what my reaction was when I discovered my navel.
