What do you talk about at dinner? We've given you snippets of our conversation, but here's a meaty portion from this evening ...
B: "Did you know that a booty is a bum?"
Me: "Oh really?"
B: "Yeah, booty is another word for bum."
Me: "Well, in our house, we call it a bum."
B: "Okay."
The preceding is the first thing B has learned from friends at school. Thank you friends!
Minutes later ...
Me to the Mr.: "Will you please help our Little Miss finish her dinner since you're done?"
The Mr.: "Sure."
The Mr.: "I think she's decided she's done."
Me: "I think she's noticed there's something green in that spoon ..."
At the end ...
B: "Mom, who should have the last roll?"
Me: "I think we should give it to dad ..."
When we told the Mr. could have the last roll, B responded by saying:
"Actually, Mom decided, I didn't want you to have the last roll, I wanted it."
