Recollection

Do you remember the first time you watched Return of the Jedi? Moreover, do you remember that scene when Luke Skywalker enters Jabba's palace, tries to reason with the sluglike mobster and gets tricked into falling through a trapdoor, into a pit where he encounters a nasty, sharped tooth, drooling monster? Yeah, that scene. Neither, the Mr. nor I can recall our reaction, but we don't think it's far from B's:

Now do you remember the relief you felt when you realized Luke was going to be okay ...

That he was able to defeat that alien monster despite all odds?

Once again ... we think it may have looked something like this:

B has finished his journey through the latter half of the Star Wars saga.

The Mr. and I have enjoyed observing his reactions and, in a sense, getting reacquainted with our first impressions of these films.

Know we now what people mean when they say they've relived a childhood experience through their children's eyes.
