Our Favorites

After a fun day of going to the LA Zoo and exploring my old haunts, we began to talk about our favorite moments of the trip as it has been progressing ...

One of mine was taking pictures by the Utah sign after we left Colorado:

B loved seeing and taking this picture of a rainbow at a view point stop on I-70:

All of us agreed, the stop we made at Cove Fort was fun:

In Vegas, we walked over to see the Bellagio Fountain.  I was just happy to be there with my favorite man:

In Regard to the LA Zoo, the Mr. said his favorite part was showing Little Miss the Pink Flamingo's  (or, as she calls them, "My pink hungo!!"

Little Miss liked her hungo's best:

For me, it was seeing this hummingbird perched atop its nest.  It's not the first time we've gone to the zoo and left thinking about an animal who wasn't part of the exhibition.  Capturing this photograph was challenging because the bird was perched so high above the ground.  BUT, with a tall husband, his extended arm and an SLR's automatic setting (cheating, I know), this picture was possible:

B's favorite part didn't have a chance to get its picture taken ... We gave him $10 and set him loose to explore the many gift shops at the zoo.  He's been pretending he's a Pirate with the telescope he chose to purchase.

We're having fun reconnecting with each other and adding to our growing pile of favorite memories.
