Little Miss: "Look Mommy, snow!!"
Me: "That's not snow, it's flowers."
Little Miss: "Flowers?"
Me: "Yup."
Little Miss, with a look of wonder on her face: "Wow."
Me, thinking: "I agree, WOW."
Spring brings with it so many wonders. For a 3 year old, those wonders are profound and awe inspiring. For the mother of that 3 year old, those wonders are the same, but for completely different reasons. For me, her discovery reminds me of the little things in life that bring great joy. Things like looking out the window and seeing snow, but learning it's flowers instead.
perfect time to sing popcorn popping! :) the trees are super pretty when they are blooming. If only they kept the flowers more than a couple weeks.
