Unfortunately, he was ill on the first few days of school, so I didn't get a first day picture, but a hurried "third day of school and we're running late 'cause we weren't sure if you were feeling well enough to go even though the doctor said you could go" picture (phew! I was nearly out of breath). I suppose it's apt that he begin third grade on the third day. I just hope it's not a trend (imagine when he's a senior - which, unless I'm mistaken, is in 2022!).
Earlier this summer, B asked this question: "Mom, Dad? Were you born in the 1900s?"
We answered in the affirmative and afterwards felt our age through our child's eyes. Thinking about 2022 makes me feel even older!
