My family and I are beneficiaries of countless blessings.
On our last full day in California, we came here (thank you reciprocity!):
I love going to a zoo and seeing animals that have room to roam. This is a photo shows part of the Gorilla Habitat ... a habitat, not an exhibit: it's huge!
Here is B's reply:
Seconds later:
Lady: "Hurry kids, there's a peacock! ... Never mind, that kid grabbed it's tail feathers and scared it away."
Then she glared at me. Inside I was giggling to myself.
Let me explain: I wanted to see if we could get it to spread it's feathers because it's a mode of defense and B hadn't seen a peacock do that ... apparently, this peacock is accustomed to kiddies like B and "encouraging" mothers like myself because it didn't even heed our approach. (Please don't call PETA.)
We got to go there last summer. I was really impressed, what a HUGE and fun zoo!
ReplyDeleteHa! I love the peacock story...I'd probably have Maddie try to get it to show it's feathers too. Don't you just love passive-aggressive comments from others :) It makes me giggle too...
