Which is better?

Before moving to Kansas, the Mr. and I hit our favorite Big Box Superstore for some supplies. We bought dryer sheets, sponges, toilet paper, Comet ... I'm sure you get the idea. We knew we wouldn't have as many resources to purchase these items during Law School. Anyway, to save some money, I cut sponges and tear dryer sheets in 1/2 (this practice began years ago)... it's been more than 1 year since we moved and we still have plenty of sponges and dryer sheets ...

This week, when the Mr. transferred laundry from the washer to the dryer. There weren't any 1/2 dryer sheets, so he used a whole sheet ...

The result?

I have forgotten how wonderful it is to have soft, run your fingers across, like you're in some lame commercial, soft fabric.

I have been running my fingers across towels and shirts, marveling over the softness! (This is done while I'm folding the aforementioned "stuff." I don't spend time in front of a linen closet doing this. I just wanted to make a clarification. Now back to the subject at hand.) I'm torn. Do I continue saving pennies or do I unleash the full potential of 1 dryer sheet?

(This is me in a dilemma; albeit a fairly inconsequential, even trivial dilemma, but a dilemma nonetheless.)

  1. I'd continue to use a half sheet for every day stuff like clothes and cleaning rags but use a full sheet for the really important "stuff" like towels and sheets
