The Plan

I hadn't been home more than 5 minutes when the Mr. and I heard footsteps coming down the stairs.

Before reading on, here is a relevant fact: Our kids are usually in bed by 7:30 and that night was no exception. Read on:

Me: "What are you doing out of bed? It's 8:30."

B: "Mom, I have a plan."

Me: "Okay."

B: "Tomorrow, after school, you can get me a babysitter and then you,

Dad and Baby Sister can go shopping for my birthday. Is that a good plan?"

Me: "Wow, you really thought this one through. It sounds like a good plan. Now go to bed."
