Each week, the Law School wives from the JRC get together for various activities; today, we explored the grounds around the Governor's Mansion. The grounds offer a feast for the eyes; even more after the foliage has turned to show fall colors, or so I've heard. In the next month or so, I'll return to take pictures of the view. By the way, in case you didn't notice, the Governor's Mansion is situated atop a hill. The preceding offers proof to the nonbelievers: there are HILLS in Kansas, it's not as flat as you think.
Great pictures! It is going to be even more beautiful there once the leaves turn. We should all definitely go back for some photo ops!! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a workout today, huh? Strollers and gravel don't mix! I can't wait to see the fall colors come...the photos will be spectacular! :)
