During our flight, B discovered the safety card.
B: "Mom, look! We can land in the water and go down a slide like these people.
Wouldn't that be fun?"
I know he's picturing something like this:
As the turbulence begins, images like this flash through my mind:
Only there's no water, I have two kids on board and we're probably going to crash into something much harder (ahh!) ...
Thankfully, our flight was uneventful: we landed safely and walked off the plane. B never got to go down that slide and to be honest, I'm okay with that.
So after years of repeating this phrase as a joke, I can finally and honestly say:
We're not in Kansas anymore.
